This is the first time I ever write a review but I felt my experience needed to be mentioned. Yesterday I went to this dealership and test drove the Rio5. The car is fine for what it is. I was dealing with Kristoff and started the negotiations. The back and forth was pointless and dragged on for no reason, but to be expected. Where it got dicey is when the GM Patrick got involved in the negotiations.; I have never met such a condescending person in my life. He made me feel like I was a liar misrepresenting my intentions and not worth his time. When I got up to leave (because I said I had another engagement) he presented me his final offer... to which I said "ok, I'm listening". Patrick threw his hands in the air and "OH... NOW YOU HAVE TIME FOR ME!". And continued in his agressive tone... that is when I walked out. Never going to this dealer again.

We have been going to Banks Street Kia since 1999, and while the quality of Kia cars has improved over the years, the sales and service departments have gone downhill. Buying a car and negotiating a good deal is like pulling teeth for them, and you are nickeled and dimed each step of the way. Furthermore, if you are not careful, the sales people will try to sell you products you do not need. As for service, all I can say is that for many years after the sales department fell into disrepute, it was the one bright spot of this dealership. This is not the case anymore, as I have recently found out that they recommend services your car does not need, so I can no longer trust the service department either. Terrible sales and service means that the last Kia we bought from the dealership will be the last. And once our warranty is up, we will service our vehicle elsewhere too!

This was our first ever “new” car purchase as we’ve always purchased used, so for my wife and me, this time the experience was understandably more stressful right from the start. We had the opportunity to deal with Moe from sales and Pat from finance and the experience was nothing short of pleasant, professional and honest. At no point did we feel pressured into making any choices that we would otherwise not have made. We are indeed loving our new Sorento free of any regrets. Thanks again Moe & Pat.

From the first day my 2010 Kia Rio 5 has had nothing but issues, mostly electrical. I obviously got a lemon. I have met with nothing but resistance and a lack of general interest in my multiple and never ending electrical and other assorted issues. For example how the battery has been changed once but may need to again and the stereo 3 times in a 2010 car!! The stereo is still not fully functional but they won't change it again- no longer covered. As for the need for another battery, or an explanation as to why the power suddenly shuts off and then blinks, they will need to do some "tests" to see if it is electrical and only then will they honor my extended warranty. Tests we have to pay for at $110/ hour. By the way, the extended warranty is not held by them. It is held by a company called...wait for it...Extended Warranty. They will make you miss work, bring your car in, pay for tests and then usually deny that it is covered. I will never ever buy a vehicle from this company again. I have never in 21 years of being a car owner been so disappointed and felt so conned.

I had the pleasure to work with Asad, Joe and Pat. They were all very friendly and were clear on what I needed to know as a first time buyer. Joe gave us a pleasurable car testing experience, Asad was great at finding the best cars to select from based on my criteria, and Pat was great at going over the financing options. It was quick and easy and I would recommend them to anyone.
