I purchased the 2016 Honda Civic May 7, 2016. May 30, 2016 all of the sensors in the car started alerting me something was wrong-hill assist problem, brake hold problem, engine trouble, and anything else that could light up my dashboard. I called Orangeville Honda the next day, not getting an answer I emailed my sales person Kimberly. She contacted service for me and Dave called me almost immediately. So far so good. I went to the appointment at 2pm. After waiting over 2 hours for just the diagnosis they told me it was the MAF Sensor. Unfortunately they did not know how long it would take to fix. I had a wedding out of town the next day, so I needed a specific time. They did not know if the car would take 3 days or just a few hours (I would be away for 3 days). A rental car was provided to me. I don't know why exactly, other than they were unsure of the timeline to fix my Honda. The rental car company required a deposit of $150.00 plus gas, plus insurance. So now I am up to, 3 hours of work lost, $150.00 deposit and insurance costs. This all before a wedding that I had to be at in less than 24 hours. I took the rental car home. The next day at 8:45am Dave called me to let me know the Honda was ready. Now, if my car was going to be ready in the morning, is there not a courtesy vehicle to drive me home to avoid the rental car? Why was there no timeline on this fix? This is a brand new vehicle, to have something go wrong within the first month, disturbs me. But it disturbs me more that the service technicians could not estimate how long the car would be out of service for. It also disturbs me that the sales rep that sold me the car, walk past me 3 times in the service area and could not be bothered to even acknowledge me. I have driven a Honda my entire life. 8 years ago I purchased a Suzuki and swore I would get back into a Honda when my Suzuki was finished. I have never been so disappointed in Honda before. Hopefully, this is not what the future holds for my new car. Melissa

Hi Melissa, service jobs have different timelines. Especially in a case where several signs lit up on your dashboard, a full inspection is necessary to figure out what the issues are. In addition, there are parts that may need to be ordered, the number of appointments already booked for that day are some factors that affect the amount of time it takes to complete. Due to your schedule, attending a wedding the next day, we offered a rental at no charge (deposit refundable, insurance is required for any rental) for your convenience should the service appointment take longer than you wished. Went in to purchase a new CR-V. I had researched the trims and knew I wanted the Touring one. The process was very easy, the dealership needed to do a dealer trade to get the colour I wanted. I had my beautiful new vehicle within 2 weeks!

I was just switching over my tires, but they noted that my brake pads are worn and I will have to pay through the nose to do something with the rotors soon (not the service departments fault).
