Terrible experience. Dealt with Nick in sales and Steve the sales manager. Should have been a slam dunk for those guys. I knew the exact make and model of Sorrento I wanted. I live and shop locally or try to. I knew the dealer price of the vehicle and just wanted to negotiate as I’ve done on every car purchase in the past. Was told by nick there was very little markup in the $43000 model I wanted. (There is actually $2300 markup plus the made up $499 admin fee you charge is $2800 total. Was told the $5000 cash incentive was my discount. When I pointed out to Nick that was a manufacturer discount he went and got his “manager” Steve who basically lied to my face and said that that was in fact my discount. When I pointed out on their quote screen in front of me the column under discount was actually zero Steve got flustered and said he told me that already. No steve you actually lied to me. When I asked what he could do he said the very best was $500 off as again there was no markup. Sufficed to say a competing dealership was happy to give me a $1200 plus off of the car easy no hassle whatsoever. Also most dealerships in Stratford don’t charge Admin fees and most people know they are just imaginary fees car dealers tack on. I will never go back here again could stand either one of these guys seem like they both had short guy syndrome and acted like they were so much smarter than me. I will service the Sorrento elsewhere thanks.PS Steve if you are going to interact with the general public I might suggest you permanently keep some breath mints on hand I almost vomited in my mouth from your breath.
