I met Paul Deek for the first time on Sat March 21/2015. He was really easy to deal with and did not presure me when we got talking about looking for a new car. He respected the budget that I was working around and on Monday March 23/2015 he called to say he might have found what I might be interested in. He knew I was also looking at other competitors, which I had, but was pleased that he had called to say he had found something. It shows that he really cares about the people that he meets and is willing to go the extra mile to help them if he can. After talking with Paul we closed the sale of a new vehicle at a price point that was comfortable with me and Hyundai. My wife also met Paul and was pleased in his way of dealing with us. I am truly thankful that we met Paul as our salesperson. We have no problems of recommending him to our friends. Juan-Carlos Lobera looked after the closing for final sale. Ernest Lorello was very helpful in explaining the extras which we purchased when finalizing the paper work. He did not pressure us either which made our time at Bank-Street Hyundai a very pleasurable experience from start to finish. Congratulations to Paul Deek, Ernesto Lorello and Juan-Carlos Lobera for a great job well done. It was our pleasure to have dealt with all of you who made us feel welcome on what is sometimes a stressful venture. Cheers

After looking at 5 other makes (BMW, Audi, Toyota, Lexus and Subaru) we realized that the best value for our money was a Hyundai. We have 3 BMWs, and a similar vehicle with the same options would have cost us at least 40% more. On top of this, the car has a smother ride than any of our BMWs. We considered Hyundai because Justin was a friend, so we decided to take a look. We were VERY surprised at the quality and features after looking at the other 5 makes shown above. Don't be fooled by the name. Hyundai has come a LONG way in the past 8-10 years. The crash test results from 2014 really helped as well. I drive a V10 BMW M5, but will be looking at the Genesis when I decide to buy again.

It all started back in the 80's with our Hyundai Stellar. We have been fans for years and although we have bought other cars in between we always seem to come back to Hyundai. We have bought an Accent, an Excel, a Tiburon the year they came out (very cool), and of course the Sonata. The Sonata was the first car we have ever driven off the lot and minutes later had a stranger pull up beside us, ask what it was and compliment its streamline body. We have had our Sonata for five years, the longest we have ever owned a car and we came back and bought an another! Our experience at Bank Street Hyundai was exceptional. They always, always treat us with respect and consideration when we visit for servicing and this time we came in to trade up and we felt so comfortable right away. Naser Sharif was a personable young man that knew his vehicles and was able to assist us in our choice. He worked hard to meet our needs and expectations. Ernesto Lorello made the purchasing process smooth and efficient giving us several avenues always giving us the best options clearly laid out. You know when you walk out of a dealership without a qualm, look forward to seeing them again and look at your watch and can not believe where the time went! Well done. We tell everyone about this dealership and about Hyundai. Thanks for holding up your end guys!

Meh. I just got home and I feel really let down. After reading these reviews, I had really high hopes. I need a car immediately (I specifically want an Elantra) but I'm going to grad school... so I need a deal and I've been shopping around. YES. The salesmen are well trained, knowledgeable about their product line, and yes, they know how to butter you up. They even dropped me off at the bus station! They are very professional and as genuine as salesmen who are trying to seal a deal can be. NO. I didn't get a good deal or even a promise of one. In fact, after a couple of phone calls and an invite to their VIP sale, they refused to give me a counter offer before I promised to commit to a deal before I left that same day, likely out of fear I would shop around. Listen, all informed consumers shop around. People who don't may not understand what they're buying. I expected the salesmen to be accustomed to this and confident in their pricing! Instead of trying to sell me on a new deal, they gave me a song and dance about how it's their policy to not try reaching a deal unless I was intent on buying today because I'd go elsewhere. But that's the sales game guys... shopping around is my right as a consumer. If the deal is good, they knew I'd be back the next day because my timeline is tight! Anyways, I refused to commit to a same-day purchase and things got tense. I felt pressured and left without receiving a number better than what I had been quoted elsewhere. Shop here if you want and are willing to go along with the same-day hustle. Personally, I don't feel comfortable with this particular tactic. At the end of the day, it's about the numbers, not about whether their got me a latte or have an effective sales script. If I'm going to spend 25K, I need to bargain. The salespeople seemed nice and have a tight hustle, but I'm put off. I'll keep looking and possibly go back to Surgenor.
