I have personally have a very disheartening experience with Bytek's Service Department Manager. I drive a 2019 VW Jetta who has had some issues with rattling of different parts inside of the car (only 1 was confirmed the 1st time I serviced the car). The rattling was fixed, however within a few days the part broke down due to poor service quality. I decided to wait until the next service (30k) to have the rattling issue, plus the other ones, that have become far more pronouced. However to my surprise, I was told by the Service Manger that my car is out of warranty and I would have to pay for the fixes. I decided to contact the dealership that I bought the car (in Montreal) and they said that my car is still under warranty and I can take it to MTL to have it fixed. Being too far, I took it to another dealeship who has fixed all of the issues and gave me a free car wash. I have filed a formal complaint with VW Canada and have informed the Service Manager about my experience. He apologized and informed me that some of their staff is new to the brand and the dealer.

Hi Alexandru, and thanks for your reply. We are sorry that we were not able to resolve the rattling issue with your Jetta under warranty. There were some process issues as far as claiming a rattle with VW, which we have now resolved. We do have some new staff in our service department. I'm glad that you were able to discuss your concerns with our service manager directly, and hope to see you for your service needs in the future!

I went into their showroom and not one person working acknowledged me or my parents presence. We even ask for help, and the lady at the front went to the back and didn't come back for 15 minutes. The fact that I didn't get served at all made me walk out because if that was how I was treated before my purchase of a new car, what would it be like when trying to get serviced?!

Super good service, friendly staff. I went just to get some parts for my VW golf. They had some and ordered other on. Quick service and cheap prices too!
