We bought our car from empire 2 years ago and we were heavily promoted by them to buy their extended warranty. Fast forward, a month ago, we took our vehicle to change the tires, the day after we got it back we had an engine malfunction and the car shut down in the middle of the road. They took it to the shop for about 3 days to try and fix the problem. We got it back and paid them almost $1,000 and the next day it shut down again. They then took it back for about a month with very minimal communication about updates on the car. They took it to audi as they admitted they couldn’t fix it and, again, did not communicate with us enough updates as required. After finally getting a call to come pick it up, they wanted us to pay again, on top of our warranty and the first bill we paid. The money they wanted us to pay, or at least an estimate, was not communicated to us in any way, and they informed us that we cannot leave with our car. We were also informed by the mechanic that he did 12 hours of labour, and when we asked him again, he admitted it was only 10. This is a highly unfortunate trail of events and I hope they find ways to better their services and I hope everyone does research prior to approaching them.

Empire auto group is the best. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. Arlene Lnlakhana was super helpful I highly recommend you ask for her. She had gotten me a new truck not long ago and someone totaled it, so I called her right away, and I'm now driving an even newer truck she is the best by far hands down. Will for sure go back.

Update: Phone calls are not getting returned and we are being left in "limbo" If you have credit issues they can certainly help. If you want the full truth and no lies you will want to go somewhere else. Sam and Sean told us exactly what we wanted to hear so they could make the sale. 6 months later when we called them on it they changed their stories completely and now we are stuck. But hey they made their sale. Do not deal with these husselers. Find a place with integrity and honesty

My second review as I was asked to remove the first to give them a chance to rectify and make things right which was just as much of a disappoinment. After months upon months of unanswered phone calls and emails and as well as texts the first time being dealt with by my other half I post a 1 star review mildly outlining the occurrences and run around after run around that we were given only to be contacted by the store manager who turned out to be the one that had been involved in the ordeal to begin with who claimed he wanted to make things right and asked what would do so and after details laid out and getting stuck with a loaner that had more lights on the dash than a Christmas tree failed promise after promise and no further follow up as to whether or not i was happy with what the outcome was i may as well outline the entire list of events that have lead up to this review not only did i have the wrong plates put on my vehicle which understandably could have been an honest mistake upon notifying them I was told to report them stolen which would have been a nightmare for whomever had my plates even after doing the leg work and finding the make model and vin of the vehicle that had my plates and me having there's they couldn't be bothered to check there records to contact said person that had gotten multiple tickets with my plates and of course I was told that they couldn't just search the files to find this person to resolve that issue with the others that I had would not recommend them to anyone only giving them 1 star as you can't give them a rating of zero

The manager Sam took full advantage of the fact that I’m young and haven’t financed a vehicle before, I went in looking for a Volkswagen Golf with a manual, my credit was around 610 at the time. He Claimed the bank would not finance me for under 30,000$. Sam showed me 2 vehicles that he was able to sell to me one being a Chrysler 300 (2017) and a Audi A4 (2017). I’m from Niagara Falls so 2 hours away, he said he wasn’t going to be able to show me the Audi just some pictures. In the pictures in the file for the car that they received when they purchased the car, it did not have damage to the front bumper, I took delivery of the Audi 1 month later and when it showed up, it has a scratched front bumper, and the inspection service light was on, the delivery driver said he could not get in contact with the dealership, with the advice of my family I took possession of the car, I then msged Sam numerous times trying to set up a time for him to look at the damage and “see what her could do for me”, I talked to him on the phone and scheduled an oil change and he said he would look at the car that day in person because the photos I sent were not good enough for him. He fully recognized and greeted me when I arrived at the dealership, He said they would take a look at it while it was on the lift. After waiting for a while in the lounge the mechanic came from the back and told me that I have a cracked oil plug, (which was 70$) then proceeded to replace it even tho I said I don’t want a new one ordered, I park on a white concrete driveway, if the plug was leaking oil it would have been on the driveway which there was none, the weather guard on the bottom of the car was zip tied onto the car, I called and sent pictures to Sam, the dealership told me to come in, they said it was zip tied before they bought the car so they didn’t have to replace it because it wasn’t hanging on the ground yet. I would not recommend this dealership if you are looking for quality customer service. They said 2 years free oil change, but each time I go they add a new expense onto the invoice, which I have all of them saved to prove the difference in each, first one was 10$ for disposal, 2nd time was disposal and filter (75$), the third time they told me over the phone it would be 170$ for my next oil change, weird how it goes from 10-170
