Appointment cancelled. No one called to inform me.

The mechanic called in sick on a Wednesday night and my appointment was for a Thursday. I showed up at 1:00 P.M. for my scheduled appointment and was told all of the mechanics appointments were cancelled. I asked why I was not called to inform me of this fact. Was told that everyone was called and I must have got missed somehow.
