My experience at Vernon Dodge with Paul Sterritt was easy, exciting, with no pressure!

I bought my first dodge truck in 2014, thats when I was first introduced to Paul. He was so fun and easy to deal with,not to mention knowledgable and helpful. So when buying my new 2016 Sport I was determined to have Paul as my salesman. He was occupied with other important customers at my arrival, so I was provided with water and coffee in their waiting area. I was greeted by other friendly salesmen making sure I was looked after. Once we began my purchase, it was so quick to decide. Paul asked me a few questions as to what I was wanting in a truck, making sure it was the best investment for me. We did the test drive, the paper work, the insurance is taking care of right there, the truck was gassed up, detailed and they even looked after the tires from my old truck. The service man picked the tires up from my shed, changed them over and then delivered the winter tires back to me. Paul went over all the controls and answered all my questions. If at any time I am not sure of something, Paul is always right there to assist. It was a real pleasure buying a vehicle from Paul at Vernon Dodge. I would recommend him to everyone. I Love My Truck! Due to previous experiences with another Dodge dealership I was not looking at dealing with Dodge at all any more. After speaking with a Chrysler rep at the Vernon dealership and dealing with Paul, my salesman I was happy to be purchasing a new truck. With the help from Paul and the great service and understanding I am happy to be converted to be a Dodge fan once again. Paul was patient, understanding, positive, kind and above all respectful of my feelings. I would highly recommend him as a salesman to all of my friends.

Kam is your go to man to buy a vechile from at Vernon Dodge

The staff at Dodge are exceptional and the customer service we received was outstanding! Kam was very polite, extremely helpful throughout the whole process and seemed genuinely interested in helping us find the right vehicle instead of focusing on a quick sale. He went beyond the call of duty to talk to an insurance company out of the states, answered questions about extended warranty in the US and getting the car across the border. Coordinating staff to personally deliver the paperwork to our home for signatures made us feel respected and valued. Kam even went so far to put dealer plates on the car and deliver it to us as we were unable to pick the car up.

You lost my confidance, and probably my future buisness

lets start by my saying, I have purchased 2 new vehicles from your dealership and my family owns 4 dodge vehicles. I was hearing a funny noise while driving my 1999 dodge 1500 so brought it in to have it checked out. when I was there I told the woman at the service counter that my truck was old and I was considering selling it and had cam ( a sales rep there) looking for a newer truck for me so I wanted her to phone me before they did any major work on my truck. latter that morning someone called me to say that while the mechanic was opening the hood the battery "arced" and now the battery was ruined and thre truck wouldnt start so they would have to replace the battery at the cost of $175.00 plus an hours labour, before they could check out what the noise was.I asked if there wasn't something that they could do as I wasn't interested in putting $300.00 for a battery into a truck that may have a blown motor. at first she said it was a "safety issue" so wasn't sure that there was anything else that could be done..Luckely for me I knew the battery was only 7 months old so was still under warrenty from Canadian tire across the street. I told here that I would come down and walk the battery across to Canadian tire. At that time she said she would talk to the mechanic and get back to me. latter she phoned me and said they had gotten the truck running again but didn't say how. They then diagnosed my noise as a catalitic converter noise and said I needed to go to a muffler shop. 1) I'm not much of a mechanic but I'm pretty sure batteries don't arc without a reason, like you touch a wrench to the battery post and contact the fender. 2) If I hadn't known that it was a new battery I most likely would have spent the money on a battery. 3) The "ruined" battery which cost $99.00 at Canadian tire and takes 10 minutes to change out is still in my truck and working fine, cold weather starts and all. 4) I left happy after finding out that my motor was not blown but the more I thought about the whole episode the more I was left with the feeling that it was a money grab and I wasn't a valued customer. big world values have come to little town Vernon

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience Guy. Please know that we are not happy that your visit to our service department was less than fabulous. In talking to the personnel that were involved in checking underneath your hood, they are very adamant that the battery arced a good foot when they had the hood open and that the battery was in abysmal shape for only being 7 months old and was literally caked in corrosion. We are glad that you found some relief in the fact that your engine was not in fact blown and that the battery is still getting you started every morning. You are very much valued here at Vernon Dodge and we would like nothing more than a second opportunity to satisfy your vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

I recently bought a used vehicle, Jeep Liberty, at Vernon Dodge Jeep. The sales transaction experience was friendly, and a sales agreement was reached to our satisfaction. There have been a few unexpected issues with the used vehicle, but these have been overcome with agreeable and friendly terms. The staff at Vernon Dodge Jeep have been very respectful of my concerns and needs, and have endeavored to provide an excellent and friendly service. My overall experience dealing with Vernon Dodge Jeep has been very good.

Recent oil change.

The service was good except I had to put on my own own "next oil change sticker". The synthetic oil was twice the price I thought I should have paid.

Hi Chuck - thanks for doing your oil change with us! The discrepancy in the price of the oil was triggered by the fact that we mistakenly put in premium synthetic oil, which lists at $16.00 a litre instead of the secondary product that possibly you were expecting. The good news is that because of your long standing relationship, the parts department marked your oil down to staff pricing levels. Next time we'll know to use the basic synthetic to better meet your expectations. Thanks!
