Purchase of used vehicle

When picking up my newly purchased vehicle nothing was as expected. I was told it was going to take half an hour tops. I received used floor mats from another vehicle. I had to wait almost 3 hours to pick up my vehicle. We had a scheduled appointment. The sales person disappeared for over an hour. Then, when I finally interrupted, he scrambled up to deal with me, leaving potential customer kinda stunning at his desk. Overall experience is negative. Although there are some positives.

When I purchased my vehicle, I received good services. I am still waiting for a part of purchase contract to be fulfilled since the part was on back order (eg tow wiring). Nobody has followed up since my purchase in mid-June. If I don't hear something soon, will follow up myself.

No Customer Appreciation

I am so disappointed with this dealership. I bought a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport less then two months ago and I must say that the customer service I have received from this dealership is below standard, even when considering it's a car dealership. A month and a half into owning this car, the drivers side door lock fell out of my door, leaving my vehicle vulnerable, and Dilawri's service crew was happy enough to put it back in for me, which is nice enough, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place! And that is where the customer service ended from Dilawri. Because also within this month and a half of owning this brand new vehicle with 3000 kms on it, my windshield developed a fairly large crack down the centre. Now I understand that a jeep's windshield is fairly flat and upright, which upgrades the likelihood that you will get stone chips and cracks, but what I don't understand is how Dilawri's warranty (Jessica) and sales department acted afterwards, by telling me to take my absolutely brand new car to claims and get my windshield fixed through my insurance. What kind of customer appreciation is that? I just bought this car from you, and it's now broken in two spots, and you don't have the respect towards your customers, or obviously any belief that your vehicles can withstand daily driving, to help in the slightest. After giving your dealership so much money, you cheap out after a month and won't spend some money to keep your customers happy. I bought all of the extra warranty and rust protection packages, giving your dealership more money, and what do I get out of it? Literally pushed off the the side and made someone else's problem. Pretty low even for a car dealership. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone I know, and if I can help it, I will not be having any service work done on my car by your technicians. I feel so disappointed and disrespected by your dealership.

Absolute worst case scenario that could happen to someone buy a new vehicle. Receiving a vehicle that was not the way it was ordered.

Had to return for service several times for the same problems. My truck was promised to look a certain way and it doesn't. Was told they could do certain things to my truck via my contract and turns out the things i want are not possible according to Dilawri. My first vehicle i have ever purchased 2016 dodge ram at a price tag of $70k and treated like i bought a used vehicle as is.

Misleading Sales People

I was looking for a used 2015 Grand Cherokee. Salesman said the one I was interested in was an executive lease return. When I went to sign the papers it turns out it was a daily rental. I bought it anyway because it was in good condition and still had the factory warranty.

I do the like the car I finally purchased but it was not a good experience.

Was not impressed with the condition of the first two cars I was shown. One wouldn't start. One stunk like a boys hockey locker. The third car I tested was the one I was go to buy but it turned out, it was sold. The salesperson was very nice though. I did buy the forth car I test drove. I had a Chrysler Sebring before and it served me well so I wanted another one which was the 200. I am pleased with my car but to date have still not received the manual for my 2013 Chrysler 200. My sales person was to have it mailed out a month ago. Overall not a good experience.

Will not recommend

I had terrible experience, the agreed upon price turned out to be a lot more once I left! My credit was ran with out my consent because when I said I had secured financing already with my bank I was told " we do not do that here at Dilawri" I was talked into getting extended warranty that I did not want, a big scratch on both doors was not fixed upon pick up like I was promised. I was told "it's just cosmetic" I am still waiting on my warranty papers! I believe the men in the facility saw a woman and her little girl coming in and knew how to work the situation, I feel like I was taken advantage of. They tried to fix things with a "free" trip that I have to pay airport tax and fees for! I do not recommend this dealership to anyone when asked!
