This is my second lease with Bytek, both times with a VW golf. Although Volkswagen Canada could not get it straight for the first 4-year lease that I had moved and kept sending mail to my old address despite several attempts to get them to change it, the staff at Bytek are very friendly and helpful. I came out of the negotiations for my second lease very pleased with my monthly payments. Honestly, I waffled a lot on whether to buy out my lease, buy a new car, or lease a new car at the end of the first lease, but both the financial and sales associates were very helpful, checking in with me both by phone and by email to make sure all my questions were answered. I also use the service department for maintenance and detailing and I'm very happy with those services as well.

I have only dealt with the service department as I originally purchased my car from Cornwall. My experience was great, I dealt mainly with Rawad as my Golf needed a couple of repairs, the service was fast and professional, and the shuttle service is excellent with very friendly drivers. I would definitely go back, and I recommend dealing with Rawad!

Went on unhaggle to get best price on a VW Golf. I was instantly contacted via phone by Andrew. I told him to send me information by email and our communications continued that way. During our back and forth, he asked me what a local Mazda dealer wanted to offer me for my trade and I was honest with the deal I was presented with (bi-weekly cost with negative equity.) He then replies with a much higher bi-weekly payment than what I could get out of a Mazda (offered me much less for my trade, which is 100% fine), so I politely told him that I couldn't make a deal unless they at least matched my Mazda deal. Andrew then replied to my email in a condescending tone saying they were two much different cars, and continued to send me links to prove that the Golf was a better car (even though it was clear I just couldn`t afford it.) Long story short, he contacted me without asking, I told him I had a deal on the table and only wanted to make a deal with him if he could beat it, and he became butt hurt that I wasn`t happy with his deal. I have never stepped foot in this dealership and they have confirmed that I now never will.

Very disappointed with recent service from Bytek. My wife booked an appointment (to get snow tires put on) to coincide with our next oil change. Tires were replaced, but the technician told her that she didn't need the oil change, despite the fact that the 'service' indicator comes on when you start the car, and the date/mileage for next service is clearly indicated on the sticker on the windshield!! A week later (next available appt), back at Bytek - she's getting talked into a 'full inspection' at $320, when all she needs is that a oil change. Bad enough to have to make a second trip, but instead of being even slightly apologetic, Bytek is still trying to take advantage. brutal.
