On the night before she was to be Maid of Honor at a wedding, my daughter's Honda Civic suddenly required some immediate attention. I reached Andrea Arthurs at Jonker Honda early the following morning and explained the situation to her. She arranged for the vehicle to be serviced and repaired, all within 2 hours of my call...and my daughter had her car back to carry out the wedding duties that were hers to attend to! In my many years of dealing with Service Departments at various dealerships, I've not previously run into a Service Advisor who is more professional, courteous, prompt and knowledgeable in their work than Andrea Arthurs. In her, you folks at Jonker Honda have a gem! Thanks!

So we have a Honda Civic hybrid 2006. And the IMA light and the battery light came on...(research online and you will see many people with the same problem.) The service desk asked me to authorize an hour of work. Sure. There was a water issue - water had flooded they battery and back seat area from driving in the BC weather- (many cars do the same thing every day.) why is there water in the artery area???) They call back in a couple hours saying that they would let the car dry out over night. I got another call in a couple hours asking if I would authorize the install of a couple rubber seals $33 each plus a $187 service charge.... Okay... Now I start to wonder... This is Saturday and they are not open on Sunday. I call on Monday morning and they have yet to instal the 2 rubber seals. They say the computer is not starting up. IMA is dead. Tuesday comes and mid afternoon.... Drum roll please... The motor/rotor sensor needs to be replaced. - as if I have $7000 for a rainy battery compartment. Blasted honda. Could they not have told me before I spent the $187 plus $66 for parts on seals. Many people have the same problem. I used to think Honda looked out for the customer.
