Overcharged for service. Charged 1 hour diagnostic labour for a known fault that had a TSB and which I TOLD THEM was the issue. Charged over $100 for an oil change. And to top it off, they will not stop calling me!!! Received FOUR voicemails IN ONE WEEK because "my vehicle is due for service." Even after I have contacted them via email, text, and phone to stop! Do not recommend. I expect better from a Mazda dealer. Never had an issue with Mazda until I visited these guys.

Based on excellent dealership reviews, I went to Barrhaven Mazda in October. I knew generally what I wanted and test drove 2 vehicles. Abood was my salesperson - he was professional, polite and gave honest comments on the 2 options. He could have, but didn't, upsell me. I'm very pleased with the cx5 Signature that I bought and the whole buying experience. Abood was excellent and the rest of the team was also great.

One of the worst dealerships I've been in. I very reluctantly went to this dealership to look at buying a new vehicle. I had a previous bad experience at a Dilawri dealer around 8 years ago. Upon walking in, not a single salesman came up or acknowledged me. We had to ask the receptionist to have someone help us. The salesman was nice, but unfortunately kept pushing what he could do to get me into the car that day, even after telling him I was not buying that day. A sales manager also came over to try and see if he could get me into the car, after already telling the salesman numerous times that I wasn't buying that day. I told them both that I would reach out if I was interested in pursuing the car. By 10:30AM the next day, I had two text messages from the dealership, asking how they can earn my business and get me into the car. I reiterated to both that I would contact them if I was interested in moving forward, and told them the only dealership that has made me feel pressured or hounded by was this one. A few days later, I received another message asking what they can do to earn my business. At this point, I will not even consider stepping foot onto a Dilawri lot. I went to several other dealerships, and Dilawri was the only one who has pressured or hounded me.

Don't do your business in this place. I wanted to have one of their cars checked at a mechanic shop (Canadian Tire), so I offered to pay them in advance, but they said it wasn't necessary and that they would take care of it. On the day of the appointment, the person who was supposed to take the car was 30 minutes late (maybe on purpose) so he missed the appointment. Mazda blamed CT that it was their responsibility not to receive them if they were late. Then the solution they offered me was to have the car serviced at the shop next door (yes, same owner so more profit for them). Although I told him I was very busy, the manager insisted all day to take that option, he called and texted me insistently, so I was forced to accept. After checking the car, the diagnosis provided by the workshop indicated "very noisy engine" and I asked what the reason was and they told me that they didn't know, which is very suspicious since it is a mechanical workshop. To pay for this service they forced me to transfer money to one of their workers and I requested a copy of the documents to my email, which never arrived. They only sent me a photo with someone else's name on it, not my name. I lost $160 cad, but at least I didn't take a car with a blown engine. Be careful.

Brought my car in due to a known issue with my car and having symptoms of this issue. Was told there was nothing wrong with my car and that “operating temperatures can fluctuate” (car was staying in cold and expelling cold air). Brought to Kanata and they diagnosed and fixed it under warranty same day. DO NOT GO HERE, they lie to you.
