We traded in a car, and now we keep getting calls and emails from Mazda for the man who purchased our old vehicle. So unorganized! I hope the company has told the man that they gave his personal information to others!! Who knows how often they make this mistake! Also, I found the manager to be incredibly fake!

Disappointing Experience — Take Your Business Elsewhere I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience warrants one. Out of respect for the salesman, I’ll refrain from naming names, but I strongly recommend taking your business to Kanata or another Mazda dealership. I visited this location with my wife to test drive the Mazda CX-90, as we are currently in the market for an SUV. Upon entering, no one greeted us or acknowledged our presence, which was surprising given how quiet the dealership was. After waiting for a while, I had to seek out a salesperson myself. When I finally spoke to a salesman, I explained that I wanted my wife to test drive the CX-90 since it’s a big decision for both of us. I also mentioned that I was working with a lease broker from Leasehackr.com to explore competitive deals. This seemed to shift the salesman’s demeanor from welcoming to dismissive. He even went so far as to call me “ODD” for wanting a test drive while working with a broker. Here’s the thing: brokers don’t own cars — they facilitate deals between the buyer, the dealership, and financial institutions. Test drives are still necessary to ensure the vehicle meets our needs. As someone who’s leased several vehicles over the years, I know the process well. My goal was to make sure my wife felt comfortable with the SUV, as this would be our family car. A good husband prioritizes his family’s comfort and happiness, and that’s exactly what I was doing. To make matters worse, the salesman was unfamiliar with key features of the vehicle. He didn’t even know that the CX-70 offers a red interior option — something any car enthusiast or salesperson should be aware of. Instead of trying to engage with us, he walked away to chat with another rep. When he returned, he informed us there were no CX-90s available for a test drive. Frankly, by that point, I didn’t mind because I had already decided to leave. I had no interest in spending 15 minutes in a car with someone who had just called me “ODD” for making a perfectly logical consumer choice. Here’s where this dealership missed the mark entirely. I have nearly 10 years of experience in marketing, so I understand how the modern car-buying process works. Consumers don’t walk onto the lot to “browse” anymore — they come in well-informed. The journey starts online with YouTube videos, forums, and research on pricing from sites like Cars.com. By the time they reach the dealership, they’re 75% ready to buy. The test drive is the final step before sealing the deal. Coming from the U.S., I’m even more aware of how drastically the market has changed. In the U.S., we can have cars shipped across the country, making dealership visits unnecessary. This means dealerships are losing even more customers who don’t physically visit the lot. This dealership had a chance to convert a lead into a sale but failed due to poor customer service. I’ve since taken my business to the Mazda dealership in Kanata, where the experience was night and day compared to this location. If management or a lead conversion team reviews this, consider this feedback a missed opportunity. Train your sales team to engage with well-informed customers instead of dismissing them. If they can’t do that, they’ll keep losing sales to competitors.

When I was looking for a new Mazda Abood and Saman were excellent to deal with. They are both friendly and I would recommend Barrhaven Mazda to my friends and family. Excellent service and felt no pressure.

Never deal with a Dilawri owned dealership, so desperate for sales, extremely pushy, feels more like a used car lot than a Mazda Canada dealership. Literally trying to guilt me because I took a better offer elsewhere.

Bought a vehicle from this dealership. Didn’t notice I had signed up for tires and rims protection plan (approx $800+) until received letter notification from the insurance company. I had declined everything up front, but it was still added to my weekly payment without my consent. I must admit I didn’t read everything that I signed but I also clearly stated my position that I am not interested with any maintenance nor protection plan. Looking forward to hear from Dan the general manager. Inappropriate selling strategy had applied and salesperson just left recently. Based on so many reviews I think this is an isolated case but I need a solution. To customer service: I forwarded my concern to customer service as per your instruction a few days ago and look forward to hearing from you. The issue is now resolved. Daniel definitely deserved for 5 stars rating, taking 1 away because of the unfortunate experience.

Probably one of the BEST dealerships and car buying experiences EVER.. Daniel (GM) has a great team.. A huge thank you to Wasfi (Sales Manager)and the team (Henning and Sam) for an easy and pleasant buying journey. It’s great to deal with nice professional people , who genuinely care. We set up an appointment on Saturday to look at a CX-70 GT and after the test drives , we decided on buying a 2025 CX-5 Signature Turbo in Jet Black Mica… and took delivery the following Saturday … It was so easy dealing with the team, no pressure, no BS, just straight to the point in a pleasant , clear and family like approach. We had a trade (again no hassle and gave me what I asked for) the whole process was seamless and smooth .. Pro tip : .. The showroom is one of the brightest we’ve visited , with large glass windows, tons of lovely sunlight .. Honestly , bring your sun-glasses, you’re gonna need then, and because of where it’s situated if you’re there late in the day around sunset, you’ll have the sun shinning in your face … Oh thanks for the matts We always appreciate the little pluses… All the best to a fantastic Team
