Follow up to my comments below from nine months ago: January 2017 So Brandan Hebert, Brent McRae, Clint Plante, and Vince Lee proved the last time was no fluke. Over the Christmas break, we traded in our old car for a new one, and the St. Alberta Dodge team came through once again with flying colours. Let's face it: Parting with a lot of money is never truly pleasant but when the transaction is handled as respectfully and professionally as these guys do things, the pain is eased considerably. And it's not just the sales team; the service gang, Roch, Kaity, Jessica, and Jennifer, are just as terrific, in addition to being much better looking than the new car guys--sorry, Brandan, but the beard has to go. Overall, I can't say I've ever had better dealership experiences than those I've experienced with the new iteration of St. Albert Dodge. If you're looking for a place to buy a vehicle or have yours serviced, seriously consider giving these guys a shot. And no, I'm not related to any of them. When I'm not happy with service, I'm just as vocal; but when things are this good, then the positives must be acknowledged, too. August 2016 Recently we decided to trade in our truck for this year's model. Given past experiences, we had previously decided never to return to to St. Albert Dodge but Brandan's work on our tires convinced us to give them another chance. What a freaking difference. I didn't feel like taking a shower after I left the showroom. Brent, our sales rep, was awesome--professional, down-to-earth, zero BS; Brandan took the time to come out of his office for a quick chat; and sales manager Ravi, one of two holdovers from the previous administration, was his usual exuberant, fun, brilliant self. It may sound like I'm being paid to write this but nothing could be further from the truth. I just feel it's important to support local businesses and I want to acknowledge that St. Albert Dodge has been transformed into a prime example of what a car dealership should be: A place you go to buy and service vehicles, hoping to be treated respectfully and with integrity. Good job, guys. Keep it up. November 2015 What a difference this ownership group makes. While our service experience at St. Albert Dodge was always been first rate, it was the only reason we stayed with the dealership. What we'd gone through with some of the sales staff left a lot to be desired, reminding us at times of caricatured used-car salesmen from movies--think Bill Paxton in True Lies. Happily, that's all in the past. I had the distinct pleasure of working through an issue with the new General Sales Manager, Brandan, and his approach was terrific. When the time comes for the next new vehicle, we won't be taking our business anywhere else. Tip of the cap to the new owners for instilling such a complete change in corporate culture so quickly.

Just bought a new truck from Dari and we had an awesome experience. Everyone was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend buying a vehicle from here!

I have given them multiple opportunities to fix their mistakes and spoken with the sales and service managers multiple times over the past few years and enough is enough. I have dealt with many different dealerships this far in life and I recommend avoiding this one. I wanted a jeep in 2012 at the end of the year and knew exactly what I wanted before I went in. Unfortunately I had already made the down payment and was locked in on the sale. So I continued on with the deal. They took far longer to deliver the jeep than they had promised. They even called me in to pick up my jeep and brought me out to one which had the wrong transmission trying to tell me that is what I had ordered. I have a bit of a background in mechanics and trades and their service department talks to me like they are explaining rocket science to a 10 year old. When I had made the deal for my jeep, I had purchased the undercoating I believe it cost $1000 Their service department was to spray it on. 1st attempt at the undercoating was only over a sticker. I peeled the sticker off brought it in and they booked me in and re sprayed it. 2nd attempt they must have been scared to get any on the jeep as they sprayed a piece no bigger than my hand on either side. I then rebooked and took more time off work 3rd attempt they added another inch to it. Every time they sprayed it I needed to get time off work and organize a ride for a couple days without a vehicle. So I told them I was unsatisfied and gave up. Since I have owned the jeep every winter for 3 years in a row the heater quits. The 1st time is under warranty. However, it took multiple visits that year to get it fixed. I think the first time that year they just topped up the coolant. In my opinion if you tell a customer you have fixed something should it not at least work on the way home. I drove home on a warm day only to realize I still had no heat. 2nd year they flushed it did it and said not to worry about it I had good enough heat. This year for the 3rd time they tell me it's out of their hands as the warranty has expired and want to charge me a full inspection fee to figure out what is wrong. Well I can tell you what is wrong the same thing you haven't fixed properly the past three years and multiple visits. Don't get me wrong, there service department did successfully change a light bulb under warranty. However, I feel like that's the best they can do! I also assisted my past girlfriend in purchasing a Jeep around 2013 from them as she was set on using them against my recommendation. She said she wanted hers form the same dealership as me. So she factory ordered one only to be lied to and paying way more than she should of. Unfortunately we had broken up and I later found out they took complete advantage of her.

Hey Jordan – just wanted to send a note regarding your feedback. I noticed you haven’t been in to our store since June of 2015. Sorry things didn’t go well with your past experiences here. For what it’s worth, we have a different team here now…we just purchased St Albert Dodge in October of 2015. Camille St. Laurent, our new service manager, would be happy to address any concerns with your Jeep. Hoping you don’t paint us with the same brush as the previous ownership and give us another opportunity. Thx, Alan Wack – Dealer

St Albert Dodge is the WORST Dealership I have ever dealt with! I have dealt with many different dealerships this far in life and I recommend avoiding this one. I wanted a jeep in 2012 at the end of the year and knew exactly what I wanted before I went in. I decided on St Albert dodge because I was told they had a military discount and I found their dealership to be dishonest and conniving. Unfortunately I had already made the down payment and was locked in on the sale. So I continued on with the deal. They took far longer to deliver the jeep than they had promised. They even called me in to pick up my jeep and brought me out to one which had the wrong transmission trying to tell me that is what I had ordered.
