Sonny Whyte in the parts/accessories department was very friendly, knowledgeable, and very fair to deal with. There was a slight hiccup with the accessory install and, Michael, the assistant service manager made it right. Customer service is much easier when things go smoothly. You never truly know what kind of customer service a place has until you see how they handle things when there is an issue. I’ve been going there for years with different vehicles and although issues are rare, anytime I’ve had a problem at SMP, they are genuinely concerned you leave happy, which is something I have found you can never take for granted nowadays.

They had my car for 12 weeks with no contact or updates, save for their call centre who contacted me on at least 3 occasions to bring in my car for service while it was sitting at the dealership.

I bought a truck from SMP back in February. I had an issue with the speedometer out of calibration. Went in to service and discussed issue. I spoke with service advisor and seemed.like she did not know much about vehicles. Constantly calling someone else for technical information. I told her I already knew what the issue was. The tires that had come with the truck were not stock, thusly putting the ECM's calculations off for speed determination. Flat out no warranty coverage for tires, understandable. What does a Certified inspection mean if this was missed. Perhaps could have been a more meaningful experience if I was able to talk with a more knowledgeable person relating to their products.

I can’t say enough positive things about SMP. They always look after me and staff are simply amazing. They do their best to give me the best competitive pricing and accommodate me to drop off and pick up my truck at my convenience not theirs. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
