On may 6th brought my vehical in for service in my power window. First they forgot or lost the appointment I made a week in advance. Call for an update around 3 and was told my car was just brought in the shop. Get off work at 4 get a ride there and call again for an update and was told the issue might be electrical and the tech is still looking into the issue. I asked to and confirm my car is being worked on this moment and the door panel is off and was told yes. I asked how is that possible when I was standing outside the dealership next to my car looking in the window?. They were gonna charge me 230 bucks for the diagnostic they never performed. I filed a complaint with Volkswagen Canada and the service department is now trying to claiming they were confused which car was in the shop, so now I have the Better Business Beaure involved. Be careful if you bring your vehical here for service. EDIT: I'm editing this review to just clarify a few things to the owner response. The service manager did offer to perform the work the following day (at my cost) and the offer of a loaner could not be accepted because for personal reasons I do not have a credit card and therefore could not accept the vehical because they needed a card in case of tickets obtained. The issue of my review was not that the work was not done it was being lied to but the work being done. If it was a more common issue such as break replacement I can see multiply cars being in at the same time for the same work, but an issue with the power window is not a common issue so I find it harder to believe. I'm not looking to gain anything from this and I would honestly rather resolve the issue with the owner rather then going though other channels.

We appreciate your feedback, Scott. We certainly apologize for your experience here. There was an error, and while our service team thought your vehicle went through the shop, and completed paperwork, it had not. Our service manager, Louis, apologized to you personally, and offered to repair your car the next day, and provide you with a loaner vehicle in the interim. It appears that you chose not to do this. Again, our apologies.

Recently purchased my first car. The Bytek staff were super helpful and patient (especially Andrew and Jennifer). I had a great experience and highly recommend Bytek Volkswagen.
