I was A LONG STANDING customer (since 2007 to 2023) of Brantford Honda. I got sick with ovarian cancer back in March 2023, had to have multiple surgeries. This coincided with my lease coming due and i was physically unable to drive it back to Brantford to trade in my car at that time. I spoke to Scott, the retention manager, and told him of my situation and he told me that we could work something. Stupidly, I thought this was 1 less thing I had to worry about but i was I SO WRONG. I called Scott a couple of times, left msgs and kept them in the loop via email about my health to ensure they didnt think that I was ignoring them. FFWD to August 2023, I had a couple more procedures, had to get back to wrk so I decided to call Honda Finance directly and work something out, e.g extend lease(This part in and of itself is a whole other traumatic event ) etc. as Brantford Honda's communication was horrible. I signed some ppwk and thought things were good to go. I come to find out Honda Finance spoke to my "home aka Brantford Honda" dealer and they told them that I have made no attempt to contact Brantford Honda and that I was in default of the full buyout of the car. Brantford Honda had me down as full term buyout which was WRONG, it was a lease extension buyout via monthly pymts so this was relayed to Honda Canada Finance and collection procedures commenced. My car was repoed in front of my neighbors and family in the most utterly humiliating way in August (I had no payments for 3 months, not 6, 12 mths or 2 yrs!!! 3 months should never warrant a repo! I've contacted other dealers and they all were collectively horrified and baffled at what transpired). I reached out to Scott and Ms. Purkiss (gm) the next day to tell them what happenedand to voice my extremedisappointment. I got an email several days later but no phone call or follow up that demonstrated any care or concern. They absolutely unequivocally could care less. This is what i get for being a loyal customer for 15+ yrs and my fam as a whole for 25+ yrs.Thank you Branford Honda and Honda Canada for letting me down at the worst time in my life. Now thanks to you, I have a repo on my credit report, no car, have missed countless doctors appts, treatments and added loads more stress to an already fragile body. I would RUN, not walk away from this dealership because they do not care about their loyal customers or customer service whatsoever and this situation might happen to you! Now on to OMVIC.

First off, we are sorry to hear about your recent health issues. Scott; the leasing manager has notes of communication as well as attempts to get in touch about your lease expiring (beginning in March 24th, 2022, one year prior). If Honda Finance or we knew about your health condition prior to your lease expiring, we may have been able to ask for an extension on your behalf. Scott sent an email on April 15th stating “Hi Lindsay, I hope this email finds you well. We’ve been trying to get in touch with you regarding your lease, it’s now currently overdue and I don’t want it to impact your credit. Please call me as soon as you can so we can update the system etc”. We also reached out right after you notified us that your vehicle had been repossessed to explain an option of getting it back, but those attempts went unanswered. We value and have valued your family’s business over the years and if we can assist further, we would like the opportunity. Sorry you have had to go through this, we wish you the best! Thank you

I have been servicing my vehicles with Brantford Honda for the past 16 years. They treat me like family and I trust them to have my safety and needs as a top priority. On my last visit, I had new snow tires installed. Trevor listened to what I was asking for and now I have a safe, quiet and smooth ride.

This dealership is awesome from test drives to trade in appraisals. We had the pleasure to do business with them thru Hayden one of their sales rep, this gentleman really cares for his customers, did go the extra miles answering inquiries even outside his work hours. Super pleasant, listens to the customer, overall super nice and honest guy. We did not end up buying a honda for now but they hold true to their ads of buying your car even if you don’t buy theirs. It was hard to believe that there are dealerships like this. Having said that, my next ev will be Honda, for those who want to experience top notched car buying experience look for Hayden, he won’t let you feel that typical dealership’ being forced ‘ to buy feeling. Let alone , he will make you feel like a VIP from answering your text promptly and waiting for you even if you show up hours late.Keep it up Hayden.

Just purchased my Honda Civic coupe. I must say Hunter was great at helping me find the payments I was looking for and structuring a good deal. He made my experience an amazing one along with Stephanie in finance. Everything went smooth and he kept following up with me until I was able to come to the dealership. I’m so happy with the service provided to me at Brantford Honda, il definitely be back when it's time to upgrade 😎

While living in Hamilton we dealt with one of the dealerships there, but it didn't make sense to go there every time for a service or other needs since moving to Brantford. So far I've had a vehicle service, dealt with the parts department and most recently a vehicle purchase. I can happily say that all of them have been great service! I spoke to Hayden recently on our last vehicle inspection and spoke to him about moving up to an SUV and he took me through all the options from leasing, buying new and used vehicles. Also a special mention to Krista who made the finance part an absolute breeze. Great team service from beginning to end, even following up to see how they did.

This review is specifically about only the service department; The staff was friendly, but the service was kind of disappointing. Brought the car in to have them diagnose an issue. They recommended a couple of things that they were "99% sure" would solve the issue. Bottom line, I spent $400 for their services and replaced the parts they recommended, and all the parts were good and didn't need to be replaced. I'm out $400 and have nothing to show for it and in the time I spent trying to work with them instead of someone else, the issue has progressed to the point where I don't feel safe driving it anymore. Take your money to someone who will care about the service they provide you, which is not Honda
