We have bought two vehicles from SMP in the last 7 years. Had a great experience with their sales team and really appreciated the extra lengths they went to make sure we were satisfied. However, the service department has been some of worst experiences I’ve had with a business. Every time I have come in for service the price ended up being higher than quoted. The last time I came in I was told my trailer brake system was faulty and needed to be replaced but it would be under warranty with no cost to myself. I agreed to the repair based on this information. When I showed up to pick up the truck they had charged me for the repair. When I challenged the issue they tried to explain to me that I was in the wrong and somehow misunderstood. I let it go but I have now had enough of the constant phone calls, emails, and text messages I receive from them for service and trade-ins on our vehicles so I have decided to write this review. I have called in at least 4 times now and asked for them to stop calling and messaging me, sometimes 3-4 times a week. That is to the point of harassment! I have noticed a gradual decline in the service provided and unfortunately I don’t think I will be buying or obtaining service from them again in the future.

Yesterday was my first experience buying from a dealership, and SMP really knocked it out of the park for me. Jarrett in Sales and Dale in the financing department were both fantastic, answering all of my questions without being patronizing. They both went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and get me the best rates for the car I wanted, and Jarret even drove me to to insurance office to get my new car registered (since in my haste, I had Ubered to the dealership and hadn't considered how to get over there once I had made my purchase.) I feel completely confident in my purchase and know that if something comes up, they are there to answer any other questions I have. Without getting too mushy, I feel like having this car opens a whole new chapter of my life, and I am delighted to have had Jarrett and Dale's help in getting here. Thanks you guys!

Took fiance in to get a new vehicle and was welcomed like family. They had a wide variety of vehicles and took the time to explain each one and wasn't pushy to put us in a vehicle she did not like, and watched closely to the exposed emotions to see how we liked or didn't like it. The financial team listened to our wants and need and did everything they could to meet our demands. We had an amazing experience and highly recommended them for dealing with.
