I have recently purchase my second vehicle from Bank Street Hyundai and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Between my fiancé and I, we have purchased a total of 6 cars at this dealer. The sales team is awesome, very welcoming and make us feel like family. They gave us the time and attention we, as costumers, need and deserve when making a decision to buy a new car. They are open and honest and I never walked away feeling like we had not gotten the best price possible. I would, without any hesitation, recommend to anyone who want to be seen as a valued customer to go visit Shahir, Amir and Ashur. Thanks to all of you!

On Thursday, May 19, 2016 we had the oil changed in the two cars. My car was fine. I was told my daughter's car had oil in the coolant. The mechanic showed it to me. I was told there were two ways for oil to get into the coolant - a head gasket leak or someone put it in the overflow by accident. I authorized the diagnostic test, even though there were no signs of a gasket leak - no white smoke from exhaust, no leaks of any kind under the car, etc. The diagnostic came back negative for a gasket leak. I told the service advisor that if that was the case, I had only ever had the car worked on at their shop so the error must have been made there. His response was that he did not know if I had only had work done there and implied it was our fault. I went to the service manager. He listened with a stare that was meant to be intimidating, looked at my service records and said he would have to talk to his boss. I said to go ahead. He told me that he couldn't just get in touch with him "like that" meaning right away. I told him he could because his area manager was in the building and had introduced himself to me while I was waiting for him to get off the phone! I told the area manager that my 2009 Sonata was purchased at their place of business and if he looked at the service records for it, he would see that it had only ever been serviced at that shop. I then told him that the first thing I did when I purchased my daughter's car was to bring it to that shop for a piece of mind inspection and it had only ever gone there for service since then. I then told him the results of the diagnostic test and that I was not willing to pay for it, or the repairs now needed (to the tune of $1200) since the car had only ever been serviced by them. All of the above took 15 minutes. For the next 35 minutes the area manager tried to tell me that it wasn't their fault, in various different ways. At one point he tried to introduce transmission fluid into the equation. I told him that I knew very well that the transmission fluid was conducted through a separate hose and that I was "not that green". His response was: "are you a chemist?" I was flabbergasted. He continued to obfuscate and a little later I told him to cover the cost of the coolant flush (twice, as recommended by their mechanic) and replace the hoses and I would be happy. His response was: "tell me it wasn't our fault"!!! In the end, I did not pay for the diagnostic test or the two coolant flushes and got a 10 percent discount off the cost of the hoses, which were $87, but not before they patronized me and my daughter, tried to make us feel like idiots and that we did something wrong. I am posting this here to ask you to keep the treatment I received in mind when it comes time to take your car to a shop. If they would act in such a manner to a 7-year customer I worry what they would do to a random Hyundai owner who has problems with their vehicle. Please do not use the services of Bank Street Hyundai. I have written a letter to the Better Business Bureau, the General Manager of Bank Street Hyundai and copied it to the Service Manager outlining this experience and letting them know that I will never step foot inside of their business again, and have told everybody I can to please do the same. This message is the fulfillment of that statement. P.S. In no way am I implying that all Hyundai dealerships are like this.

"Best Car buying "Experience!"....EVER!" REVIEW>>A MUST READ! (March 24, 2016) First off….I hate writing reviews! When I do, they are usually for a, *truly negative experience. (For a “Heads up” to the public!”) Well, I must say that buying a new car for most, is a feeling of being, “Stressful/Apprehensive/Vulnerable” to say the least. And when you buy a new car, you are somewhat happy…… But when you drive away in your new car, you can’t help feeling……well,…. that maybe, you could have negotiated better or that you left a pound of flesh behind at the dealership! (Ha!) OK, My Review: “Bank Street Hyundai” has given my wife and I, a truly…..Great ”Positive” Buying Experience EVER! (We are both 57 years old, and have bought 8 new cars in the past.) Our experiences were fair to good, ......But Never >>>*Excellent*! As we entered Bank Street Hyundai Dealership, we were warmly greeted and cared for! (Of course, you are a potential buyer, right?) But let me say that, we felt the Honesty and most important “Transparency!” in the three persons who helped us, with great guidance to buy our 1st 2016 Tucson 1.6T Limited. (The car we wanted and not the car they wanted to sell!!) I don’t know why, but we felt relaxed and calm. We were dealing with seasoned sales/financial staff. A kind, no worry, your choice, your ideas type of atmosphere! Bank Street Hyundai employees are; Dynamic, Helpful, Caring of your Needs! (I could go on.) The *Five Star treatment were from the following: Moe Ali, Shahir Moradi, and our “Rock Star Finance Representative” >> *Ashur Younan!...... Yeah!....>> You “Rock” Ashur!! Three young men, who know the Dynamics of “The Power of Honesty, knowledge of their products and again, I’ll say >> Transparency! (Such an issue for me, and that, I hold so close to me!) *If I Read, at any point, in the process of buying anything, that something is “Askew” I run for the hills. These Three Gentleman, are truly the BEST! And I’m sure, the rest of the staff is. Rest assure, I will do my business with Ashur Younan, Shahir Moradi, and the very “Kind” Moe Ali. Hyundai Canada & Bank Street Hyundai, I sincerely salute you, and these fine men, with gratitude! Respectfully yours.
