I was very disappointed with the level of service from Jonker Honda. I purchased my van ‘subject to inspection’ which they assured me was only a formality and I would receive delivery in two days. Two days later I was informed that there was a recall on the vehicle and I would have to wait till Monday, on Monday they said I could pick it up on Friday, then I was called and told I couldn’t pick It up Friday and that I would be two more weeks. At this point I was starting to become frustrated because I had not planned on going two more weeks without a family car (my wife and I have 4 children) and we were having to borrow vans and possibly even rent one. When I explained to them that this was causeing me a lot of trouble and asked for help they said there was nothing they could do and I could pick up my deposit if I wanted. Eventually the van was finished and I picked it up two and a half weeks after I bought it. I left feeling like we were definitely not a priority. Whenever I asked for information I was told they didn’t know how long it would be. The sales department just blamed everything on the service department instead of getting the information and explaining it to me. They couldn’t even tell me what the recall was for. I would have appreciated if they worked together for the customer instead of each person just trying to pass the buck. Also, they gave me a scratch card which I was told would be a discount off the purchase price and then it turned out to be a gift card for the service department which was a disappointment. Then when I got in the car to drive away the radio wouldn’t work. Now I need to go back to the service department to have that fixed. In the end I bought the car because we have been without a van for too long and school is starting next week which doesn’t leave me much time to look for anything else. I understand that parts can be back ordered and have lead times, but the lack of information shared and unwillingness to help left me very frustrated and annoyed. I will not be recommending Jonker Honda to anyone I know.

Hi Tessa we apologize for the delay. Honda Canada released a safety related recall before you were able to take the van. We are legally unable to deliver a vehicle that is unsafe. Your Van's parts were prioritized via a request from Jonker Honda and we had the recall performed as fast as we could get it done. We again apologize for time delay.

Fantastic service. Took my 2018 CRV for its first service, and the staff provided the service free of charge as a courtesy. I dealt with Chris M., Super helpful and accommodating. The service include oil, lube, And filter change. On top of that, the staff repaired one of the tires that had a nail in it...AT NO CHARGE, and washed and vacuumed the vehicle. I was not expecting 1/2 of what the Jonker Honda team did. 5 star service all the way. Thanks all.

I would recommend Jonker Honda to anyone considering buying a new vehicle. Our salesman, Ben, was amazing. My wife and I were in a situation where we needed a vehicle but had a very tight budget. Ben took the time to listen to our needs, demonstrated immense patience (we had our 5month old son with us), and worked hard to find us a solution that fit our budget and lifestyle. Not once did we feel any pressure, in fact we found the opposite with Ben encouraging us to take our time and explore our options. This customer first, open and honest approach really sold us Jonker and we felt very comfortable giving our business to them. Tami in the finance department deserves a shout out as well, as she made the more stressful part of purchasing a new vehicle relaxing and, dare I say, fun! In fact, the openness and honesty I mentioned seems to permeate through the entire staff as everyone we interacted with seemed to uphold the same ideals. In a heartbeat we'd send any friends or family to Jonker.
