Fantastic customer service, they always go above and beyond for you. Always a pleasure to deal business with Acura Of Hamilton. Special thanks to Louis, Matt and Aileen for putting me into a new 2019 ILX A-Spec, really beautiful car!

I'm rewriting my post after having new information, and I believe their customers deserve to know to expect this until Acura decides to stop arguing against me and using my case instead as a prompt that they should 1) try a tiny bit harder to prevent foreseeable mistakes that cause harm to people's cars and personal time and 2) stop being so defensive which just makes them worse. - Also: don't say "we're sorry you feel you had a bad experience" when I objectively did have a bad experience. - I have a second hand acura that and I thought I'd get more peace of mind by paying a dealership's higher prices to get the recommended maintenance done professionally rather than doing it elsewhere for less. - Acura of Hamilton is more expensive than necessary, even though they say below that they are lower priced than other places. They say their prices are what they are because they give genuine acura parts and fluids. Ok: They quote a slow air leak repair in a tire at about $60, while Canadian Tire did it for $30. What about patching a tire requires more expensive Acura parts to justify the price being double? Maybe it goes to paying employees to scan their google reviews to argue against everyone who had a legitimate complaint about their negligence? I will describe that next. - I came in for a maintenance visit knowing I was paying more for convenience and presumed professionalism and their acura-specific specialization, however, when I was going to drive away afterward, I see the back plate had the numbers paint blasted off somehow. They messed up either by 1) not noticing it or 2) noticing it and not telling me. Both are bad, but it gets far worse than that. - I go back in and Chris Bolton tells me at fist "just go get new plates" and then I have to reason with him that I shouldn't have to take my car from the place more damaged than I brought it in, and he finally tells me he'll reimburse me half of the costs (they should be on the hook for all of them, which will be revealed in a second). - I get the plates changed for free at ServiceOntario somehow, however, it did cause me to have to CHANGE my licence plates, meaning I had to spend at total of 3 hours ServiceOntario and the municipal parking office to fix the fact that acura of hamilton destroyed my plate. It still seemed like a freak accident, but after their comment replies to my original post, I see they could have prevented it. - After changing my plates I wrote a review on here just reflecting the trouble I had with that, then the Acura Google Review Warrior that refutes every single negative review told me that Ontario plates had issues with the paint coming off, so anyone might start to think that a company might send a memo to not power wash these plates. I had no way of knowing that they would blast the paint off my plates when washing the car but they had all the knowledge needed to predict it might be possible, but they took their risks and hoped it wouldn't go wrong, but it did with my car, and then either I had better be the first person this has ever happened to, and this case should cause them to send a company-wide announcement to not power wash license plates for the time being, or what I rather expect is that they won't change anything and will just deflect blame to anyone and continue to say anything in order to look like my google review is an overreaction and not their problem. Forget the fact that while they act nice to you in this dealership you can feel the insincerity coming from them like a strong aura, or the fact that their service prices are objectively higher for things that you can get done elsewhere, it's the fact that they didn't take care of their customer with preventative actions or by owning up to their mistake that I am disgusted with them and will enjoy going out of my way to do whatever I have to to never bring my car in to them even if it means learning how to fix it with my own hands. I deleted the older posts due to space limitations but this is the most important information restated. Bye guys!

Mr. Lee to your response. Our services on our vehicles are usually cheaper or very close to other service centers around and when they are cheaper it’s usually because the Acura Factory parts and fluids are substituted with aftermarket parts. We always research and stay as competitive as we can while upholding the quality of service. If you found croutons in your engine compartment that is usually a sign that you may have had a rodent visit your engine bay as they will often leave behind clues as such. I can assure you they were not left by us. As for your license plate you did explain to Chris there was already previous damage on it and the Ontario plates unfortunately are known to have paint issues with them. The detailer did not realize he caused more of the paint to come off when washing and that’s why nothing was mentioned to you. Even after that Chris still agreed to pay for half the replacement if it was required as a good gesture to yourself. If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to Chris at 905-528-7335. Response to second comment : Mr. Lee we use Google Review as a tool. A tool that helps us to understand our client’s needs. It helps us to identify things clients are happy with or where an issue may have come up. That’s how we build our team to be able to provide the best service possible. There is no “Acura Google Review Warrior” as you mention. Simply staff at the dealership who follow up as a process to make sure we try everything possible to correct any issues that one may have. We don’t manufacture license plates, we fix cars. Again our apologies that you had to wait at Service Ontario for three hours for new plates but that was the only option available. It’s clear that you will not be returning to us for service so we wish you all the best in your future choices.

I recently purchased a new RDX at Acura of Hamilton. The whole sales experience/process was great and surprisingly quick. Ken was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He was even more helpful after the purchase when I needed help on how to engage some of the options my new RDX had. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

I recently purchased the new ILX and I love it! Ken helped me from the moment I walked into the dealership. He was kind, informative and patient with me while i decided what I wanted to purchase. He went the extra mile to make sure I got the car on time and everything in between. The best part was the free winter tires which just saved me the hassle. I hope this great service continues for the years to come with Acura :)
