The dealership is clean and well kept, but I dislike the salesman tactics of getting people into the building for sales. I made an appointment prior to visiting and informed the representative that I was interested in seeing two particular vehicles. I was told they would be ready to see once I visited. I also mentioned that I live far away so I would appreciate if the vehicles were prepared for an inspection & drive. Upon arriving, I was informed that both vehicles I wanted to see were sold. It would have been good to know this before making a 2-hour drive to the dealership and wasting my time.

2019 Acura RDX Hinge Issue

I picked up my brand new Acura RDX on July 19th. The sales process was fantastic and Julia was very helpful throughout the process, and clearly explained the features of the vehicle upon arrival. Highly recommended salesperson. But I am disappointed thus far with how an issue with the rear cargo door hinge has been handled. I dropped off my vehicle on August 30th to report the issue of a noisy hinge when the door is opened and closed. This was after I dropped by to have the hinge lubed with lithium grease a week prior. I was informed that a part had to be ordered, and that it was receiving critical status, and shouldn't take to long for the part to arrive (usually a week or so when this status is assigned). It's now September 14th and no part, the noise is getting progressively worse. I was informed that there isn't a release date for the part thus far. It's hard to understand as I would assume that there would be spare parts available? I know this isn't an issue with the service department, it appears it's more of an issue at the manufacturing end, but for a 50K brand new vehicle, I was hoping there would be a quicker resolution. I am really hoping this is resolved soon, as I have always owned Honda/Acura products in the past, but I'm beginning to reconsider a future purchase thus far.
