I recently had the pleasure of buying a 2023 Ram 1500 from South Trail. I’ve bought many vehicles from dealerships over the years, but the experience here by far exceeds any other. From start to finish, all in a few hours, Rahul made me feel very comfortable, he had meticulous knowledge of the product and placed zero pressure on me to buy, but rather, respected my time and my consideration of other vehicles that I was looking at elsewhere. I would definitely recommend Sales Manager Brad, and sales Executive Rahul to anyone that is in the market for a new or used vehicle. 5 stars aren’t enough actually!!

Couldn't be more disappointed with STC. Purchased a used vehicle (12 months old) in Dec 2023. Had it back at the dealer within a week with a laundry list of issues - severe brake pulsation, front end noises, loose front end components, window sealing issue. After leaving the vehicle with them for several days they did exactly nothing to it. I had an independent shop Inspect the vehicle which had 35,000km, to find that all brake discs were warped and were too thin to be machined even though the pads still had 75% remaining. Both lower forward and rearward ball joints on both sides were loose and outside of tolerance, control arm bushings were torn/rotted. Tires had to be replaced within the first 500km as they were on their wear bars and didn't pass inspection. Vehicle has illegal tint which I did not realize at the time of purchase. Given the many missed issues on inspection and regulations that AMVIC layout the vehicle should not have passed yet somehow they managed to do it. I was in touch with Manager Darrin for a bit but he stopped answering or responding and has just given empty promise after empty promise. $6,000 later the vehicle has entirely new front end, new brakes and new tires, tint removed and it just now finally passed an AMVIC inspection. Would not recommend this dealer to anyone if they are looking at used or preowned. They are shady and only care about lining their pockets. I am still waiting for them to give me a paint touch up pen and trunk liner that was promised and I have in writing but highly doubt that will ever come to fruition.

Hey Andrew, we looked through our service records, the purchase agreement etc and indeed the vehicle did pass the AMVIC inspection before you purchased it, and again when you brought it back. We had techs and managers look at the vehicle when you brought it back and did not find faults that would cause it to fail inspection. We also looked through the purchase agreement and could not find anything in writing about a trunk liner or paint pen, that is not to say something wasn't agreed upon we just don't have it. Worst experience ever And now they won’t even reply to my email as they stated in the reply down below because they know we have proof of all the conversations So here is what happened My friend and i went there to buy a used car They insisted on putting a deposit to reserve the car, so we did And started out a finance application even got a pre-approval And 3 days later got a call saying that the car is no longer available as it was sold to someone else. Totally unprofessional and such a waste of time. This is the worst car shopping experience i ever had in my life. Would not recommend to anyone. Now they would try to say that they offered us a chance to buy or walk away before selling it but nothing like this ever happened. All they said was that the car is no longer available as they sold it to someone else. So beware of all the manipulative replies from them.

I guess you didn't like our reply so you deleted the initial review and posted it again. So I will again respond with what happened. Lets set the record straight so as to not mislead people who may read this. You inquired about a vehicle and decided to put a deposit on it. You were actually looking for a friend, not yourself and are located 2 provinces away. You provided permission to our Finance Manager to get a pre-approval in case you decided to move forward. This was all last week and as of yesterday still had not come to see the vehicle, had not yet committed to purchase the vehicle, and had not yet decided which form of payment you would use if you did decide to move forward. While a deposit can hold a vehicle for a short time while a decision is being made we cannot hold it for almost a week. Yesterday after we gave you ample time to commit or walk away, we decided to sell the vehicle to someone who was able to do so right away. There was nothing unprofessional about the interaction on our end, if anything it is unprofessional and a waste of time to keep us waiting for days for a decision or to even come see the vehicle. Unprofessional behaviour Even if you make deposit they can tell you after getting your personal info for finance application Sorry it’s unavailable . They look for how they can charge you some extra fee always You have to pay inspection fee extra for this dealership, if you wanna buy vehicle

Hello Harpreet, again this is obviously not about you, but the interaction with your friend Sukhman. Deposits cannot hold a vehicle forever. All of our fees are upfront and clear and nothing is hidden. You were never in the dealership looking at an agreement however, so you wouldn't know that. Feel free to read the responses below for an accurate account of what happened.
