I've had issues on multiple occasions. First was an overcharge for an oil change. When I brought it to the consultants attention he shrugged it off and said it was the actual cost. After speaking to the manager, it was discovered I was in fact overcharged. They rebated the difference with little more than a "sorry." Subsequently I brought my car in for a full tune up. When I went to pick up the car I noticed the exhaust was disconnected from the muffler. When I called the consultant to let him know he said it happened on its own and was due to rust but said to bring it back Monday to have the manager look at it. I came back Monday and the manager wasn't there. Came back a couple of days later to look at it again and saw the swipe ration was a clean break, no rust. They offered to send the muffler to a shop in burlington to have it looked at and either weld it back on for free or have a new piece put in for $100 (I think. Can't remember the exact amount but it was nominal). I said fine and to call me once they had a look at it. I was called and told the repairs were done and to pick up my car without being called back after it had been assessed to decide which route to take. They just had it welded back on. Within a day or so the exhaust began to rattle, I think because of a loose heat shield as a result of them "fixing it." At the end of the day, what should have been quick and easy experiences were long dragged out affairs that should have been felt with far more quickly especially considering the supposed standard of this dealership. Suffice it to say, I won't be going back there again which is a shame as its right down the street and I believed it had a good reputation. I'll be taking both of my Toyotas to another dealership in the future.

Our Highlander was 5 months old when we collided with a bear. The car saved us from serious injury, but was written off. The team at Ancaster Toyota found us a replacement Highlander quickly and helped with all the insurance and government paperwork. They went above and beyond our expectations and helped us through this stressful period.

Needing a copy of ownership for my leased Rav 4

I was at the police station to complete a collision report but didn't have my ownership paper with me. When I called Ancaster Toyota ( on a Saturday) the gal on reception put me through to the appropriate person who quickly and efficiently found my ownership and sent me a copy via e-mail. I couldn't have asked for more friendly and speedy service.

I have copied a letter that I sent to the dealership. I did not even receive a courtesy call or a reply from the dealership. May 12, 2016 124 Eringate Dr Stoney Creek, Ontario L8J 3Y8 Ancaster Toyota 30 Mason Dr Ancaster, Ontario L9G 3K9 Attention: Mr. F. Van Der Veen, General Manager Dear Mr. Van Der Veen: I am writing to you regarding my recent purchase of a slightly used Toyota Corolla that was purchased on May 5, 2016. I have enclosed a copy of the bill of sale. I received a phone call today from one of your staff asking how I was enjoying my car. I advised her that after reading today’s Spectator, I was very disappointed to see that you can purchase a new car (same equipped automobile that I purchased used) for approximately $500 more. I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing (enclosed is a copy of the advertisement). I advised your staff person that I was very disappointed with my purchase. It is actually offending. I told her that I will never purchase a car affiliated in anyway with the Leggat Group of companies. Furthermore, I will never purchase a Toyota again and will be forwarding a letter to Toyota Canada reflecting my experience with your dealership. In my opinion, your dealership is no way a top 10 Toyota dealership in Canada. I had previously purchased a car from Autoline in Niagara Falls and I can only compliment the sales staff there including the service. I was indeed satisfied with my purchase from this dealership and I expected the same from your dealership. However, your dealership has left an awful impression and I will assure you that I will never service my vehicle at your dealership and will definitely never purchase a vehicle from you again. Furthermore, it has tarnished the thought of ever buying another Toyota. That is the type of impression that your dealership left. The staff person who had contacted me today indicated that someone would call me back (possibly, Jeremy Stadler) but I was assured that no one would because it would be difficult to confront a consumer who has been deceived by your sales tactics. However, I appreciate the after sales call but I will never return to your dealership or purchase a Toyota/Lexus again in my life time.
